With 2017 finally coming to an end, it is now time to review some of the best design trends used in 2017. There have been so many to choose from but Dotcentric episerver partner have narrowed it down to a top 3 list. One that I was a massive fan of personally is parallax scrolling. This allowed web designers to offer website visitors a more immersive visual experience than is possible with standard scrolling. Parallax scrolling also creates the illusion of depth in a 2D scene and adding to the immersion.
Another new website design trend of 2017 is logos featuring photographic images. Before this most logos were created from illustrations with some fancy fonts. But with the introduction of photographic images, it seriously changes the whole way we look at logos. This has transformed these somewhat staid website elements into something for more exciting. Photographic logos can provide a visual feast for visitors to your site.
